The revitalization of the tenement house with ground floor for shops and upper floors for residential use as Chinese Medicine Centre, is based on the design principles of preserving the character of the historic building.
The enclosed verandah is re-opened to reflect the character of verandah. By using clear glass without mullion, the openness of verandah can be achieved while the acoustic and usable area problems can be resolved.
