Being located at Tai Wo Hau since 1960s, the Asbury Methodist Church has been serving the local community in both spiritual and social welfare aspects. The existing church building and social welfare sectors were re-planned with a Design Concept to unite the worldly service and the holy heaven through the cross of Jesus Christ.  Therefor the focus of the new master plan would be the addition of a staircase in the centre with a cross and a beacon on top, symbolizing the True Light from Jesus shining through the local community.  The Church Proper was redesigned with stained glass window with Bible stories to create a solemn yet tranquil special experience sculpted by light.
